A: Yes, we're always investing in our business and personnel. Sales and marketing are key areas we're always targeting to help support future growth.

A: Spreading the word of how easy and convenient our fundraising platform is to potential clients.
Q: What's the hottest trend in your industry?
A: Contactless and digital fundraising options gained a lot of popularity last year and opened up new channels to potential donors. Our Rhino Club Card App utilizes cutting edge technology to capitalize on this trend and positions us well for strong future growth.
Q: If you had one tip to give to a rookie executive, what would it be?
A: Work harder than everyone else and always treat people well.
Q: Do you have a business mantra?
A: "You can have anything you want in life, if you help enough people get what they want" -- Zig Ziglar.
Q: From a business outlook, whom do you look up to?
A: I'm a member of EO Chicago (Entrepreneurs' Organization), and I meet monthly with a group of seven other local business owners in our small group forum. It's a great way to talk with other business owners and discuss similar issues and challenges that we all face.
Q: What is one interesting fact about you or your company that most people may not know?
A: "Braveheart" is my favorite movie.
It tells the story of a legendary Scottish freedom fighter named William Wallace. The movie covers so many bases about life like love, family, loyalty, courage, betrayal, perservance, etc. Since I've seen the movie so many time, I can repeat the entire William Wallace Sons of Scotland speech from the battlefield scene against England.
Q: Was there a moment in your career that didn't go as you had planned? What lesson did you learn from it?
A: I would say business owners are part-time firemen, putting out daily fires that pop up all the time. My lesson learned is not to sweat the small stuff and try to stay positive.
Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
A: I love planning family time, traveling and attending sporting events.
Q: What book is on your nightstand?
A: "Love Does" by Bob Goff -- My wife read this book and thought I would enjoy.

A: Hoping we've raised our kids to be respectful, loving and contributing members of society.
Q: If you were not doing this job, what do you think you would be doing?
A: I would love to be part owner of a professional sports team. The Cubs or Bears would be my first choice.

A: I was a caddie at Edgewood Valley Country Club in Willow Springs -- we would make $10 for four hours of work back in the day.

A: Wrigley Field.

A: Jon Gordon because of his positive outlook and Shooter McGavin because he's hilarious. Jon Gordon is a best-selling author and motivational speaker and has overcome a number of challenges in his life. The actor Christopher McDonald played the character Shooter McGavin in the movie "Happy Gilmore" He uses this character persona to tweet funny sports and other entertainment related clips.
